Once you’ve completed this one, go and speak to Elsa to start the quest “Chasing The Wind”

First of all, you’ll need to go to Anna’s old house. You’ll need to bring Anna a specific book from that house.

Once you’ve done that, she’ll as you to gather the following resources

• Softwood x10
• Hardwood x4
• Iron Ingot x4
• Tinkering Parts x3

Luckily, these resources are pretty easy to find.

Softwood

This can be found in the Peaceful Meadow and the Plaza. Since these are the starting zones, you should find them easily.

Hardwood

Hardwood can be found in Forest of Valor biome and Glade of Trust. Depending on how far you are in the game and what you’ve unlocked will determine if you have access to trees in these specific biomes.

They each cost 3,000 Dreamlight to unlock.

Iron Ingots

Iron Ingots are not too hard to get, they can just take a little time. You need to collect Iron Ore and Coal Ore. Take these to a crafting station to create an Iron Ingot. In order to make 4, you’ll need 20x Iron ore.

To get Iron Ore, you’ll need to venture back to the Forest of Valor and mine them from breaking the black rocks.

Tinkering Parts

You’ll need your crafting station again. In order to craft Tinkering Parts, you need 6x Iron Ingots. Make sure you collect enough Iron Ore to create these as well.

Once you have them you will be able to create your shovel upgrade.

At the crafting table select the potion and enhancement category and select Shovel Blade. In order to get it upgraded you need to go to your inventory and equip it.

Now you can get rid of all the tree stumps removal tool, and start clearing obstacles out of the way!
