Space or lack of, certainly becomes an issue. Whether you’re trying to store Sernuk hide, stone, carrots, fish or even that random common butterfly you caught.
Eventually you WILL run out of inventory space.

In this guide, I’ll run through exactly how to increase inventory slots in Palia. I’ll even go into detail on how to make more space in your storage bins.

How to Add Inventory Slots in Palia
When you start playing Palia, you’ll have 16 inventory slots. This does sound like a lot but it’ll soon fill up.
The 16 slots are split into 2 rows of 8, which you can flip between with the scroll wheel on your mouse.
Once you’ve filled up your inventory, you’ll get an in-game mail from Zeki.
He’ll say you need more inventory, so you want to head to his shop.
Visit the general store in town.
To upgrade your inventory space, it’ll cost you 500 gold for the first extra bag space. This will increase the more you purchase. If you need the gold, hunt and fish and sell everything. You’ll get the needed gold in no time.
A second upgrade to your inventory will cost 5,000 gold. The third and final will cost you a massive 50,000 Gold.
Each upgrade gives you 8 extra slots, so you’ll get a total of 40 inventory slots.
Should You Buy Inventory Spaces from Zeki’s Store?
Now I know what you’re thinking, because I was thinking the same. Is it actually worth spending that gold on additional inventory?
100 percent, yes it is worth buying extra inventory space.
By upgrading your inventory, you’ll be able to hold more items. This means you can go out into the world, hunt, fish, grow and carry everything with you.
Saves you a ton of time not having to keep going back to your house.
Not only that but it means you can carry more items to give to the townspeople.
Let’s face it, like any game the more space you have available the better!
Increase Space In Storage Bins
As well as your inventory space, you do have access to storage bins in Palia.
These are additional storage chests that you can place down in your plot of land. You can use these to store items.
Think of it as bank slots.
1 chest will give you space to hold 400 items. You can then build additional chests to increase the storage space.
Final Thoughts
One of the biggest challenges to Palia is running out of inventory space pretty quickly. You’ll find that within 30 minutes of playing and you’ll fill your bags up.
